Black Bears Get Revenge in 2-1 Victory against the Northeast Generals

ODENTON, MD – The Maryland Black Bears won 2-1 over the Northeast Generals Sunday evening to split the road series 1-1. Black Bears goalie, Kevin Lake, was instrumental in the win by saving 38 of the 39 shots from the Generals. Even though the Black Bears were outshot 34 to 39 by the Generals, the Black Bears were able to scrap the two goals necessary to secure the victory.

The first Black Bear goal was scored in the second period by Forward Matteo Menotti with assists from Connor Pooley and Jonathan Young. Jonathan Young continued his strong performance with a goal of his own in the third period with assists from Matteo Menotti and Quin Warmuth.

Maryland continues their road trip this week when they play the Jamestown Rebels on November 23rd and 24th. Puck drops for both games at 7:05 PM.
