Black Bears lose to Johnstown Tomahawks 8-2

The Maryland Black Bears lost to the Johnstown Tomahawks 8-2 Wednesday night. The Black Bears and Tomahawks battled closely for two periods. Forward Jack Rudin and Defenseman Lukas Ljunblom each had goals to hold the Tomahawks to a 3-2 lead after two periods. The Tomahawks pulled away in the third period and did not let up another Black Bears goal for the rest of the game. Tomahawks would go on to score 5 goals in the final period securing the victory.

The Maryland Black Bears travel to play a two-game series against the Jamestown Rebels this Friday and Saturday. Both games will be played at Northwest Arena at 7:05 PM.
