Black Bears fall to Jamestown Rebels 7-1

The Maryland Black Bears lost to the Jamestown Rebels 7-1 Friday night. The fatigue of the road seems to have caught up to the Black Bears. The first period was all Rebels as they jumped out to a 4-0 lead. The Black Bears only goal came in the second period from Defenseman Quinn Warmuth which was assisted by Matteo Menotti and Lukas Ljungblom on a power play. The Black Bears were outshot 35-28 for the game. Recent trade acquisition Bradley Jenion from the Black Bears was involved in an altercation with one of the Jamestown Rebels attempting to swing momentum.

The Maryland Black Bears have proved they are a tough group that can bounce back after a tough loss. Their next game comes tomorrow night against the Jamestown Rebels at the Northwest Arena at 7:05 PM.
