Jason Deskins, Assistant General Manager of the Black Bears had the following to say about Rowe:

“We have been tracking Tanner for a few years now and he continues to progress each season,” said Deskins. “He is a tenacious and fearless player that skates well, wreaks havoc on his opponents on the fore-check, and produces points. He is extremely tough to play against and I know that he will provide immediate help to our team with his well-rounded game. Tanner will be a fun player to watch for our Black Bear faithful. Welcome to Maryland, Tanner!”
