2023 Futures Camp
(Birth Years: 2008-2010)

The USHL Youngstown Phantoms are the direct, owned affiliate of the NAHL Maryland Black Bears. The two franchises share scouts, coaching resources and collaborate on summer camps, identifying prospects for each team during the summer. The 2023 Futures Camp provides younger players exposure to Junior ‘A’ scouts and coaches from the USHL, NAHL,  EHL, NCDC and select NCAA Division I and III coaches.  Take the ice with junior and college coaches and experience high-intensity practices at the next level. Off the ice, attend an informational session on the path to college hockey through American Junior Hockey leagues and pick the minds of the best coaches in the nation. All Futures participants will receive written evaluations from junior and college coaches at the conclusion of the weekend.

Each camp will have four on ice session and one off ice presentation. The first on ice session is on Friday from 7-9 pm, two on ice sessions Saturday one from 9:30-11 am and one from 3:30-5:30 pm with on off ice presentation in between at 1:30 pm. The final on ice session is on Sunday from 9-10:30 am.
