Team Maryland EHL is the direct affiliate to the Maryland Black Bears. Team Maryland EHL shares the same facility, lockers, and gym with the Maryland Black Bears and players gain exposure to the NAHL coaching staff throughout the year. Exceptional EHL players are called up to participate in NAHL games and practices.

Josh Fusco – Head Coach/General Manager
Josh has plenty of coaching experience and is a certified level 4 coach with USA Hockey. Josh has held the title of Head Coach for the WBS Knights (EHL), WBS Knights (NA3HL), and Southlake High School (JV).
Over his playing career, Josh played five years of Junior Hockey, which led to a college career at Finlandia University (NCAA Division III). After college, he went on to play professionally in Europe and semi-professionally in various leagues around The United States.
Josh continues to work with elite NCAA Division I & III hockey players and coaches younger players individually with skill development and off-ice strength and conditioning programs.
Robyn Remick – President
Robyn Remick was named President of the Maryland Black Bears in October of 2018. She is the first female President of an NAHL team in the league’s 44-year history.
Remick comes to the Black Bears after an award-winning career in marketing and sales for companies including ESPN, Disney, Telecommunications Inc., and MTV Networks. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.S in Journalism.
Born in Baltimore, she’s lived all over the country and recently relocated from Orlando to Reisterstown, Maryland with her husband Allan and dog, Buddy. Remick is thrilled to have joined the Black Bears, looks forward to serving Black Bear Nation and its surrounding community and partnering with sponsors to grow mutual opportunities!
Colin MacCarthy – Media Relations Director
Colin MacCarthy is a born and raised Washingtonian (DC) and graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of the Arts in Government and Politics.
MacCarthy brings over three years of communications experience from his time as a staffer on Capitol Hill. During this span, he worked for Congressman Scott Peters of San Diego as his Press Secretary, now-retired California Senator Barbara Boxer as her Director of New Media, and Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey as a press and legislative intern
As the Black Bears’ Media Relations Manager, MacCarthy will handle the execution of all media outreach, develop communication strategies, and generate all social media content for the Black Bears. Colin is also a part-time Social Media Coordinator for the Washington Redskins.
MacCarthy is an avid bobblehead collector and an incredibly passionate Washington, DC sports fan [ALL CAPS (Capitals), One Pursuit (Nationals), DC Family (Wizards), and HTTR (Redskins)].
