After joining the Maryland Black Bears Sponsorship Family during their Inaugural Season, Frisco Tap House – Crofton will return as a sponsor for the entire 2019-2020 season. Similar to last season, Frisco will be the sponsor of the infamous Chuck-A-Puck and provide gift certificates for each winner during home games. In addition, Frisco will cater meals during four of the Black Bears road trips and the Black Bears Team Photo will be displayed in Frisco’s game room.

The most important development in the partnership is that Frisco and the Maryland Black Bears will co-host the Military Appreciation Fundraiser Night on November 13th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Frisco Tap House – Crofton. Frisco will donate 20% of the proceeds during the event to the Maryland Black Bears Seats for Soldiers effort that will be enacted on their Military Appreciation Night on December 7, 2019, at 7:45 PM in the Piney Orchard Ice Arena. Every $25 buys a seat for an active/former military member to the game and a commemorative challenge coin. During the fundraiser, there will be specialized menu items, Happy Hour from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, and appearances from Bruno the Bear, players, and staff.

“Frisco Tap House has fully embraced the Black Bears as the local, hometown hockey team of Central Maryland,” said Maryland Black Bears President, Robyn Remick. “As highly integrative partners, they have named one of their specialty burgers after us, assisted in raising money for our Military Appreciation Night, and continue to think of creative ways to build an already incredibly healthy partnership. We are truly thankful that Frisco will be part of the Maryland Black Bear family again this season!”

“We are proud to partner with the Black Bears again this season,” said Frisco Tap House’s General Manager, Ryan Duggan. “The opportunity to team up and host a Military Appreciation Fundraiser Night is a great way for Frisco to support the local community. Go Black Bears!”

Frisco Tap House started out in 1996 as Frisco Burrito in Towson, MD. As their popularity and reputation continued to grow as a local neighborhood gem, they built a second location in Columbia. In 2014, owner and operator, Adam Carton decided to continue expanding the franchise by opening a location in Crofton’s Waugh Chapel Shopping Center. Frisco Tap House – Crofton features an ever-expanding menu filled with delicious food, over 100 rotating craft beers, and most importantly, the perfect environment for creating special memories with friends and family.
